Right guys, Been in contact with autoscots chairman about this event. The pictures from last year I've seen, it looks like a great day out for the while family, not just car and motorbike enthusiasts. The show is made up with various different marque clubs with Vintage, sports, and exotic cars, trucks, motorcycles. Also, with food stands, a fun fair, trade stands and plenty of other car daft folk to mix and muddle with, it should make it a great day out.

One this I must say though, the event is not just for us enthusiasts, its an event with a very good cause at heart with profits going to CLIC Sargent. A charity devoted to helping and caring for children that suffer from cancer. Being a father myself, I can't even imagine the pain that it would cause to hear the words "Your son has cancer."

So just for those kids that suffer from cancer, and to help them overcome the struggle cancer can cause, not just to the child, but the whole family, lets come together and support them!

Not sure what to expect to see this year but I can imagine that it will be bigger and better than last year with the show being in its 4th year!

Showcars will be those at the front of the stand. So we will get a number for those who are happy to show their car. Every other car from our club will be on the stand, regardless of manufacturer since this isn't an italian marque only show, although they will be behind the "Show Cars" listed below.

There will be a live gig from the band "All She Knows". Check the video below to see what they are like:

would love to go to this but i am flying out on holiday that day

Some of us from the North are considering making this a weekend thing booking into a travelodge or something. Anyone else interested in this?

What you thinking? Stopping off in Glasgow or further West??
Trying to think accomodation wise, there's a Travelodge just off the A77 in Kilmarnock or a Premier inn at Monkton Services (2miles from me) there's also a Brewers Fayre onsite there.
That's the problem down this way, not much choice for accomodation. Travelodge in Kilmarnock (Bellfield Services) & Ayr (Whitletts Roundabout), Premier Inn at Monkton Services & Ayr (Whitletts Roundabout)

It's still very much in the planning stages at the moment. Thanks for the suggestions but don't worry too much as I'm very good at finding accommodation - ended up just 5 miles from Tarvit last week :) The one thing I can guarantee is I won't be camping unless it's on a proper site with shower blocks. I don't function properly without my morning shower and the last thing you all need is a grumpier than normal Harper

Maybe able to attend. Will just come down to the timing of the summer holidays. Will do my best though.

Right guys and girls, We at FiatScotland are considering this to be a weekender. But would need numbers to see if this is viable or not. New thread will appear with further details soon :)

i will be down on the sunday working late through the weekend :/ cant wait for this!!
