Technical Weird heating issue

Hello I have a 2014 Fiat 500L and I've noticed now that it's getting colder that when I move it from cold to heat the airflow from the vents is reduced to nearly nothing could my heater core or something be clogged and how would I fix it? I know the heat and ac dial is cable or gear driven based on when I look it up on the part sites but I would like others advice
