I joined the Forum last October after buying “Fiona” a blue 1967 500F. Since buying her I have stripped it to a rolling shell and back to bare metal. In terms of rust, fortunately, there was very little to do other than both rear wheel arches. This is my first time at spraying and I am pleased with the outcome, it’s not perfect but certainly acceptable. I have learned a lot from the Forum which I am grateful for. I have other classics so the mechanicals are generally no problem.
I have taken her for her first drive today and she drives nicely but still needs a few tweaks of the carb and ignition settings.
She is parked next to my wife’s 500C Dolcevita and will now be Jeans fun car.
