There should be a pipe running from your distibutor to the carb... is that the one?

It goes to the distributors vacuum advance unit. That is screwed to the side of the distributor, you can miss it as it will have a bit you connect a pipe to. If its been unconected, then maybe your vacuum unit is faulty?

Hi saman,

I didn't see your number in the photo of your car, the photo is quite small. But I've looked now and can see the Arabic numbers.

I wouldn't recognise where it was from, I've never been to Iran. But I think you are now the Panda owner who lives 2nd furthest from us in the UK (we have 1 person who has a Panda and lives in Canada).

Sorry, I can't help you with your carburettor - my Panda has fuel injection. But there should be someone on here who can help! We like to help other Panda owners wherever they're from!

Hi Saman most carbs in this country are 32tlf webber so not sure if yours will be the same however this is the pipe they are referring to I've marked in red......


And joins at the carb were the left blanking cover is shown. It could be blanked as stated because the distributor advance mechanism is faulty

I think what we are looking at it a water pipe leading heater matrix? does the heater work or not inside the car?

Allen, its not a water pipe, it goes in the carb and he has circled it red... enlarge the pic and youll see. Ive no idea what it is!

I see now I'v got my spects on agree with you if its not waster then how about air line is the other end near anything close tat it could be pushed on? it a big pipe what is it conected to at the moment, that would give some idea to its use is it below the carb?
