General Warranty query

I bought my bravo brand new (am the first registered keeper) in March 2008. I have yet to receive the warranty letter from Fiat confirming my warranty past the 2 year manufacturers warranty. I have contact Fiat UK only to be told that I have to pay £27.00 and fill in a form from the warranty book to confirm my dealer warranty. I was under the impression that this was only necessary to transfer the warranty to the second owner...

Has anybody else been asked to pay for the dealer warranty?

I believe this to be the case, however if you contact your selling dealership they may be able to sort it for you.

had to get in touch with fiat head office to sort ours out it was never sent out when bought car new and we are the first owners

But did you have to pay the £27.00? Fiat UK are insisting that, even as the first owner, I have to pay £27.00 for the dealer warranty!

no 27 fee it was bought from fiat dealer they told me 5 yr warranty had to fight hard to get that in writing but no money was given they tried getting me to have 3 yrs instead.
