Hiya,

I am looking at getting a 09 Bravo 2.0 MJ sport. I have done a search but can't seem to find a definitive answer on the warranty period. Is it a 5 year 100k warranty?

Thanks

Depends upon if the first owner was private or fleet / Fiat owned, if the latter then its only 3 years, and it was only Bravo's upto a certain age, I don't think for example new Bravo's sold today get 5 years.

The 5 year warranty was actually only on cars bought at full retail price/or finance from a dealer. When I got my 59 2.0MJet Sport it was 18.5k with the 5 year warranty or 12.4k for a brand new one with the standard warranty (only in Maranello red, what a hardship ;-) ), needless to say I took my chances.

Easiest way to tell is call Fiat Care - 01274 260129

I had 5 year warranty when my car was originally purchased, called to confirm and transfer. To my delight I've just took my car to the dealer and they authorised £600 worth of work which I'm having done next week.

The 5 year warranty I have is apparently the first and second year warranty just extended for 5 years which means it actually covers almost everything including batteries and bulbs, crazy. Have a look in your warranty booklet the 1 and 2 year have less exclusions over the 3rd year dealer warranty.

Give them a call and ask if your unsure there really helpful.

Your right yes, sorry I should have been more specific - my interior heater control light went and that's covered.

I know it's been mentioned in the past but how bad does the steering wheel peel need to be for replacement under warranty, any ideas?

Ive just had my dash lights replaced after the warranty courtesy of Fiat :)

Not sure on the pedal situation

Many thanks for this, I'll give them a call. I haven't bought the vehicle yet as the seller who said "it may have a few scratches..." didn't really explain about the numerous gouges out of the rear and front bumpers. I am currently considering if it's worth it as he won't budge on price.

Good to know though as if it does still have a warranty then it adds weight to the case for just taking the plunge

thanks
