I have Fiorino 1.4petrol which am repairing. When I run diagnosis with Launch x431 it does not recognize ECM. Anyone with a possible solution to this?

Does the Launch have the latest updates, as I think that is a fairly old bit of diagnostic kit?
Most on Fiat Forum use MES MultiEcuScan diagnostics on a Windows based system with good results for most Fiats, I use MaxiEcu Scan tool which I find good. Gendan online are a good company to advise best options and leads etc.

Thanks, the tool is fairly new but I will try find latest updates. I can see other modules but the ECM, see attached. I feel that certain functions in the ECM are not powered ABS and BCM modules have missing feedback from ECM.

A friend of mine had the Launch X431 when they originally came out some years ago when they cost around £2000, I assume yours is the much more modern Tablet type version.:)
Often unless something like Snap On Tool many don't include all functions.
The ones I mentioned are Fiat Specific so if you get the full version it includes most functions you will need.
Just as a check go on Gendan's website and look at the Fiat MES tool as it goes into what functions which version will cover and at what cost including leads etc.

Would you point me where I could find functional description of the ECM so I can verify signals associated with initialisation

Not quite sure what you are asking. Something like these details would help identify, depending on which engine version.
Note using your Launch, can you get any more detail by describing it as a Citroen Nemo or Peugeot Bipper as "badge engineered" versions. Check website. https://www.gendan.co.uk/product_FESPKG.html

Gendan are a UK distributor of Diagnostic kit,

ZA probably has its own franchise, 🤔

Some countries have nothing.. It can even be illegal.. 😉

The x431 lists full coverage of Veleo TU3 modules and yes the car is not running right now it cranks but no idle.

It is not going to start when the imobilser is preventing starting (the car padlock symbol) and minicrypt code

That is what I suspected from OPs Launch details.:(
As @jackwhoo says, if immobiliser / padlock sign light on then that is the first priority to sort out.
What is the history, have you heard it running in the past ?
Does the chipped key match the car's computer and BCM module etc.?

I think there's something wrong inside ECU, it's blowing fuse of the main relay contact. The plot thickens :unsure:

Any chance a wire is shorting to earth some where.
I know it is not impossible, but apart from when water gets in to an ECU or once when I needed a ECU "de immobilised" due to a lost chip for the key, personally I have never had faults directly due to the ECU.
It is usually some external issue.
 
I have just learned that the ECU is shot, its blowing main fuse so a looking for replacement and I see Cetroen C3 has the same type and model. Are they compatible ?
