Hi all, 'newbie' FergieBoy64 here, thanks for acceptance to the site, I'm after some help identifying a connector and it's location - whilst removing my Alternator I noticed a connector plug/cable hanging loose. Just want to find out where it should go - my car is a '07 plate Punto Grande 1.4 without air con.
Thank you in advance for any help. Cheers

Took another look in (dry) daylight - main outer sheathing black with a blue trace. Wires within are black & brown - just need to know where it plugs into

Hi Fergie and welcome on board!

No clue what is it supposed to be connected to :-(

As it has only two wires it's possibly a "simple" sensor or actuator (without feedback) and can very well be part of the "standard" harness, not connected in your case.
I'd measure (voltage) what's on those brown and black wires: in-between them and each one individually against battery positive and car's ground.
This could give us an idea of its purpose...

BRs, Bernie
