Recently I bought a Uconnect 7" head unit to replace the old 5 inch one. It came without the anti theft code. I hooked it up to test if it works and of course it asked for a code. After testing I would use the tool in the forum in order to get the code. However I put code 1234 and the radio unlocked with all functions working except carplay/andoid auto (and uconnect live of course).
KM is flashing so it needs proxi edit but I have not done it yet because someone told me that during the procedure the correct antitheft code will be needed. Is that true? Why does the radio accept 1234 as a code?
