Looking for suggestions on things to do and things to take into concideration.

Obviously Exhaust, Induction, ECU Tuning are of the top 3 I would assume. Just need some answers...

What kind of Exhausts give increased power?
What are good brands on air filters? I get the vibe K&N are looked down upon in here.
What places would tune my car for me? Are they all stupidly expensive?
What else can be changed for better power? Is there a website/place the specialises in these kind of things?
How much power can the gearbox and clutch of the sporting realisticly run on without destroying itself?

Im basicly looking to get the car under 10 seconds 0-60 and getting the power 100BHP+

That is my only goal as of now, would it be financially feasable or would I just be better off buying a faster car for the trouble? - Any help?

Thanks a million!

if you do a search you'll pull up plenty of tuning tips.

basically,
supersprint.
gsr with bmc filter
angel tuning and celtic tuning will do the mpi 16v's I think, the mcrich chip is only for spi 8v's
throttle body bore outs, contact tricker, again not sure if he does 1242 16v's but hey, ask.
gsr cams (there was some for sale in classifieds)
gas flowed and ported head with fancy valve jobs (there IS one for sale at the mo).
don't worry about the gearbox, NA power doesn't damage gearbox's much, as they are a bit smoother than turbo cars where all the power comes in in a bang. diff's can be fragile if you like spinning, but tbh its not big, its not cleaver, and there are quicker ways of embarresing other small cars;)

I cannot for the life of me find a GSR filter for my car... :(
