I have a 2017 X290 Heavy with factory fitted TPMS.
Recently whilst touring in France the Tyre Pressure warning light came on. Checked tyres - all OK.
A short while later the Oddometer started flashing and, although I had a laptop and Multicuscan with me, I decided not to run a Proxi Align as, should things go 'tits up', it might prove complicated whilst away from home.
The van was booked into local Fiat Prof for a service when we got home and a request for a Proxi Alignment.
They found the Tyre Pressure module was faulty and so replaced it, with some difficulty getting full communication with the module.
The oddometer is not now flashing but the Tyre Pressure Light is still on and they want me to go back for another 'look'. This at £135 per hour.
Question: Can I disconnect the TPMS using Multicuscan. I am happy not to have it as I regularly check my tyres anyway.
