Technical Topolino 500C oil filter

I have recently purchased a Topolino 500C and would appreciate any advice on how to remove to clean the oil filter as recommended.
At first I couldn't find it, then I located it by removing the front grille. Now I can see it but any spanner which may fit is too big to get in the space available. Can anyone help?

You often have to remove other things to get the gauze type filters out. It may well need to have a replacement wire gauze soldered into it as they have often not been examined or cleaned for decades.

I have looked at mine and am considering cleaning it.It does look difficult to get out.(mine is a C model from 1954).Is there any other form of filtration for the oil....
