I've just had a thought. I'm spraying this spoiler, right. I have primer, black and red. Do i need a can of lacquer? or clear lacquer. What do i need, if anything???

Just finished doing the primer coats too Progress is getting there.

i thought you were doing it matte black so no lacquer and gloss dont need it sometimes

Yes, matt black. So no laqcuer needed then. New to all this

just done. a bit of reading and by the sounds of it, normal lauqer on matte black will cause it to look more like gloss black.

Saying that, matte laquer is available but not sure where you would get it.

Cheers for the Sam. Tbh i think i'll go without any laqcuer seeing as i have matt black alloys.

Got to re-sand the primer down a bit, as i've noticed after drying that its dripped in a spot, and there are hairs all stuck in it grrr.

First attempt at doing anything like this, so i was expecting a few hiccups along the way.

Gone a bit quiet on here of late. Had an appalling month to be fair, i was on the receiving end of being dumped by the missus....so yeah, not a fun month. Anyway, i'm rejuvenated...and throwing myself back into the car (as you do!)

The wing mirrors are now red, they have been for about a month, i just haven't had time to get out and clean the car then get shots of it. So bear with me there...it will be done soon.

The spoiler is also done, i've just got to attatch it....which i'm absolutely s**t scared of attempting myself. Anyone want to come do it for me

Opinions on genuine Punto mud guards. I've asked this before in the past, and i'm sure the answer was "it'll be fine". But i thought i'd ask again just to check. I know they are going to look the nuts, i think they do in general. Query is mainly about how they will be with curbs with me running on Eibachs Sportlines. I'm thinking i'll just go with it, very rarely do i park on a curb. If i do i can always just roll it up and down reeaally slow i suppose. Anyone see an issue here? Or maybe experienced and issue, or maybe you haven't experienced any problems. Let me know please

Ive already got a spoiler mate haha
This one will get some money spent on it too, already got wind deflectors and my Eibachs will be here on wednesday So, hopefully theyll be fitted this weekend!
