Right so heres a rundown of the slight challenges we were up against when fitting the GSR nothing me and ads couldnt handle though :p

So first of when we fitted the kit, we found that the turbo inlet was slightly smaller than the kit, no problem however slipped in a spacer and problem solved.

Next of is that as the kit is from a JTD 115 there is an extra hole for the MAF in it, so again no problem me and ads found a semi temperary-permanant solution of fitting a bottle top of a oil tub over the hole and tapeing it on  (might be able to make out in pics)

We then put the car back together with no MAF in to try it out, as expected we got the EML on, so tried plugging in the MAF and leaving it somewhere in the engine bay so it got somesort of airflow over it, this worked to clear the engine light but later when we went to go out it put the car into limp mode. So we unplugged it and ran without MAF for a while.

Then yesterday we stripped it down again took all the kit off, choped an inch or so out of the GSR kit and put the MAF inbetween the filter and the GSR (as you can see in pics) and put it back together.

Tested and NO ENGINE LIGHT problem solved running sweet as a nut!!!

Now all that is needed is to get the map tweeked to up the fuel rail pressure to get the best gains possible out of it.
:D:cool:

Just had a look at your pic's of the GSR kit and i see its done away with the oil trap but what about the pipe that comes from the rocker cover or are the multijets different compared to the Jtd's.
Looking at the gsr it's not much difference from my set up with the cone filter attached to the end of the Maf.

Sounds quite nice as well. Wouldnt mind getting the old bus remapped just to see what output she would produce with 124,000 miles.

it doesnt have an oil trap anymore but i was thinking recenlty of putting in a catch tank. but we will see.
it does have the oil breather pipe same as the JTD.
npo offence to you but i dont really think it will be the same as the JTD has a completly different MAF sensor.

yer it is a great sound getting turbo chatter :D
i reccomend doing it, but you cant catch me up on power :p

right then MOP, :p
basically its a very simple thing to do. the lights will have to be stuck on as there is nothing to cable tie them to just plastic covers, so you will need some strong sticky stuff lol, unless you want to drill a couple of holes to hold them on. My lights came with a full backing of sticky to attach them with. Get the lights and 2 lengths of twin core wire. Run the wire from the interior light along the headling to the A pillar, pull the door seal off and tuck the wire down the inside of it,and into the footwell. The passenger side light can be connected up now and the wire tucked just behind the carpet.
The drivers side wire now has to be run under the carpet round the back of the footwell through the centre console just infront of the gearstick (only place i could see through that fits a wire). Connect the drivers side lights up, theres a little piece of trim just above the pedals that the wires can be tucked up into neatly.

now you can connect the wires to the interior light, (may be different on yours as i have factory fit alarm) pull the grey cover of (requires abit of force) there is now 2 torx screws to undo to get the actual light out. you can now connect the wires to the bulb holder (the middle one that comes on when you open the door) making sure you get negative and positive correct (depending on what lights you got LED's neg and pos have to be correct)

test put it back together and your done. hope all that made sense :D

had a little idea of something that will tie in with my blue and silver theme (thats not quite got going yet )
if i do it, it will be matched to fiat badge but not got any blue tape that colour lol
what you think?

Did you twist cables together and wrap with tape? ;)

Had all the induction and intercooler of today, and cleaned all the inlet and EGR, works properly again now :)

although after just 5000 miles

so i need a new filter now.

but i did make a bracket to hold it away from the IC and the chassis leg so it shouldnt happen again.

can just about see it bolted to the battery tray.

yer but with the postage it brings total cost to £13 instead of £9 that i got the first one for.
thats alot when your in my position :(
