Technical Stop start unavailable + orange triangle

Hi,

Just bought a 2017 fiat 500 pop last week.
2 warning lights have come on. A stop-start one in the top right corner and the orange triangle with a !.

The triangle isn’t showing straight away. It comes on after around 5/10 minutes of driving and flashes on screen “stop-start unavailable”.
It received a 128 point check on 3/3/25 and had a battery charge of 75% and 92% health.

I am going to go to the dealership tomorrow to check with them but was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if it’s a major issue I should be worried about?

I believe the triangle with the exclamation mark is a generic warning that is triggered at the same time as the start/stop unavailable warning so the same fault. As you’ve on just bought the vehicle it may have been started and moved multiple times taking charge out of the battery, start/stop is one of the first things to be disabled by the car if the battery isn’t sufficiently charged so it might just be a case of if needing a good run to fully charge the battery and thus resetting the warning
