Technical Stop light on constantly

Just bought fiat 500 to sell on, never noticed only one brake light, no warning on dash, had a few of these so know a bit about them, so whipped the rear light off. hmmmm, didn't have a stop bulb, fitted one, stayed on, disconnected it, tried all sorts of ways to fix it, rang auto electrican, all seem busy, they say body control module, they made it sound expensive

Is it just the one light that stays on all the time?

Do it go on or off with the main lights

Just near side rear 1 stop light on all the time, stays on with the lights on, thanks, have taken the pcm module to a auto electrican he's going to test it, regards Ev,
