Yep the bushes are shot alright. Where's the best place to buy bushes and the tool online?

You can get the tool and the bushes on fleabay.

A Fiat bushes are rumoured to be about £30.. the same price as a pair of cheap (no-brand) ones on the 'Bay... so I guess the next question is "are the cheap ones worth a punt"?

If you're going to keep the car a while, I'd be tempted to go for OE (they'll last another 10 years if yours are presumably the originals). The cheaper ones may or may not make it that long.. but if they only last half as long, that's 5 years..?

Found Lemforder ones for €17 each which is a good price. Is this brand any good?

I've only ever used Firstline bushes and TRW wishbones etc. and they seem quite good. I don't have any experience of Lemforder.

But.. the way I see it is that;

a) It has a brand name. Plenty of bushes, on eBay in particular, are "unbranded" for the same money

b) Even if it only lasts half as long as an OE one.. that's still 5 years (?) It's a long time to forget the pain of fitting it.. :D
