Which Stilo with automatic gearbox is best buy? I'm looking for 2002 second hand in good condition. What would you recommend me, any advice and info please.

Thanks

Is 8000 Euros for that model realistic asking price or to high ?
Is it good in auto mode for every day use in city and road etc...?
Any opinion and advice from owners would be great.
Anything I should know before buying ...?

Thanks

i thought there was a stilo auto, but it was much slated then they brought out the selespeed, then later the manual?

imo the selespeed could be a lot smoother with the gear changes, but there again unlike a manual you dont lift off to change gear so much. plus its got a 2.4 litre engine so more than a lot of auto's (well the ones i have been in)

its also got a stupid habit of changing gears are the "wrong" time, like going round a roundabout or if your pootling along in a 30 in 3rd, you squeeze a little to accelerate and it changes into 4th rather than accelerating straight away ... wtf?

He he - one reason I keep it in MANUAL mode - at least you have more control over gearchanges :)

Never heard of a Stilo auto before :chin:

Sounds like to me ORG means the selespeed.
As with anything i find its always better to buy as late a model as poss cos any manufacturing bugs have been ironed out.

Like most of above the auto mode on the selespeed is terrible. I keep it in manual all the time.

Since you ask about euros I presume you are not in the uk? There are only 3-5 Stilo Abarths here in Ireland and they are booked at around 15K for a clean low miles 02 model, retail, if you can find one. I don't know about other euro countries though?
