Technical Steering Wheel Replacement

Help. My 2006 GP has the typical power steering wheel failure. My mechanic has told me that I have to replace the whole column. My question is, which other GP models from other years fit my 2006 GP? As it is well known that it is a difficult and expensive part to get, but as there are so many models of GP, there are also several models of steering wheel column (Serial / VIN code / Part number) and I don't know which one would work for me. Can I install any of them?
