hi guys,

i am running a JTD105 and wondering if i can use any known spray cleaner to clean up my manifold with engine running. i know there are many products for gasoline and wondering is there any for diesel.

can i use those normal Intake & Carb Spray Cleaner for diesel engine?

thanks...

Is this a sticky throttle sensor? It may make more sense to remove and clean that on it's own as with a diesel it only regulates fuel not the air. If it's smoking then a tin of injector cleaner works wonders, in the tank as instructed or take the filter off and 1/2 fill that and the rest in the tank if you are not taking prisoners.

no it is not the throttle sensor. i am talking about the alumimium intake manifold might have a lot of carbon or grim deposite close to the intake valves. for gasoline engine, we will just spray the Carb Clearner into it and rev the engine to push out the nasty stuffs.

not sure if those product can be used for diesel engine or not.
