Styling Sport Model back on Fiat Configurator

According to my dealer, wheels are something that men care about. Most girls aren't too bothered. In my household that's definitely true. The 'Twin Air' models IMO are targetted at men which implies wheels do matter at least for these models...
I think that's very true . My 500 Sport has 15 inch alloys and I'm not keen on them . I think they get lost in the wheel arches . My OH isn't that bothered about them and is quite happy with them as they are .

You didn't answer my question though. What I'm trying to say is that perhaps wheels weren't the only reason why the pop TA got killed off. It could be that if someone buys a TA then they're likely to want things which are included as standard in the lounge model, or Fiat wanted to position the twinair as being a premium model rather than bargain basement.

What i'm saying is that it's not necessarily anything to do with the wheels.

I would need to go back on earlier threads but when Fiat released the 'Twin Air' model it was priced keanly over the TA Pop and came with Alloys, Sports seats and Air con for an extra £500. It was also trying to attract a new market for the 500 where a young male would be enticed to get one - hence the 'Fun Fun Fun' campaigns.

My OH e.g wouldn't be too bothered about a 500 having a 15inch multispoke verus an 16inch multispoke and would be happy with the smaller wheel. And they has been a number of female members on here who weren't bothered about having a set of steelies with hub caps. But after a while they did think about having a set of alloys and then put it at the 'back of their mind'.

If I was ordering a new 500 (unlikely - mind is set on an Abarth) I would be very interested in the 'Twin Air' model and could live with the black wavey alloys. But my OH wouldn't be keen on them - thinking they were too boy racer. So IMHO it is a good thing that a bit of choice of alloy wheel on the Twin Air model has been brought in.
