Hi all. According to Fiat, when the sport button is pushed it tightens up steering, improves throttle response, and ups the torque to 230nm. I can feel the steering and throttle response, but how does the torque increase? If it was to boost higher then surely kw/hp would also increase? Just interested.

It increases boost between 2-4k rpm. Max power isn't achieved until higher up the rev range so is unaffected. It does make it accelerate faster though.

Has anyone had a failure or problems with activating the sport button as yet?

nope... LOL
Good!
Now only to get my Alfa sold.
Allready have the Bravo lined up. only need to seel the Alfa then it is Bravo time!

Crispy boss, Sent you a PM on the Abarth forum a while back for your phone number. Wanted to find out from you what your opinion was regarding the Bravo. I still have your email will send you a mail some time.

anytime man.

was offered a mito but i think i'll keep the bravo, its alot more practical.

just need to up the boost at some point

Bravo is much better than the Mito, the Mitos interior is siff compared to the Bravos we get... i.e. The Tjet 150 sport. Giulietta is a different story.

I think the general consensus is that is normal behaviour when pressing the Sport button on the Bravo...

Funny, I definitely notice a difference. With the Sport button off the power delivery feels a little slow, it makes it much more comfortable for traffic driving as it jerks a bit when Sport is on while in traffic.

Giulietta will be my Bravos replacement eventually, had a Mito to use a few weeks back, wasn't impressed :(

I found owning one for 2 and a half years, there is a great deal to like about the MiTo, but also a great deal to absolutely hate. I know the Bravo is a different kind of car but it is a great deal better in every way apart from the steering wheel leather quality! I understand this was replicated on later Bravo's.

I also liked that the dash lights were permanently on in the MiTo and the LED tail lights were funky back when it came out.

The DNA module was also really cool but it would have been better if you didn't have to switch to Dynamic mode EVERY time you started the car. Driving in Normal was boring and the car lags. The All Weather mode proved handy in the winter.

Surely the Guilietta is the Bravo's competition? I had a Punto Evo Sporting for two years before the Bravo and wish I still had it. Nicely put together (it didn't rattle like the Bravo), the chassis setup was a much better balance for British B roads than the Bravo sport and the multiair engine was great. I'd like to know how the Guilietta drives compared to the Bravo.
