Technical Speedo issuies

I have a 2010 Fiat Ducato 3ltr. And a few weeks ago the Speedo needle wasn’t working from when we started off but the mileometer was and the after about 15 miles it stated working for no reason. We put it on the diagnostic machine and drove it and nothing showed up. We checked all the abs sensors as there is no sensor in the gearbox and r readings were all ok. I took the back hubs off and removed the abs sensors and cleaned them along with the abs rings. I have still the fronts rings to do. Have you came across this before as we are struggling with this issue. J

As the odometer was advancing, it suggests pulses were being received. Perhaps you have a sticking needle or stepper motor. @Anthony489 has recently posted a resource concerning this. See panel at RHS of Ducato page.
