Hi i am looking to change my spark plugs and looking for tec info what is the gap for the plugs for a 2012 1.2 lounge seen conflicting info ? thanks inadvance:confused:

We've discussed plugs lots of times here; use of the search function should find most of the threads.

This is a good a place to start as any.

If you want a quick summary, read on.

OEM plugs are pregapped to 1.0mm; they're not used on any other engine so should be correct straight out of the box. But the OEM plugs won't last long; they'll be past their best after 5000 miles or so.

Much better is to fit iridium plugs; search for NGK DCPR7EIX. About £30 or so for a set of four. They're not identical, but are close enough, and should be good for 60000 miles. They'll come pregapped at 0.8mm and the engine will be fine with this - on no account try to change the gap on any kind of precious metal plug.
