Technical Silicone or PTFE for sliding doors

Hi,
Please could you advise/recommend what lubricant to use for the Sliding Door mechanism on Fiat Doblo Mk 1.

Should it be a PTFE dry lubricant or dry silicone lubricant.

Eg. WD40 do a Specialist PTFE Dry lubricant.

I find WD40 type soon disappears, I tend to do the old fashioned way with an oil can of engine oil, but I am less concerned with any mess I just like things to work so oil and grease as required.
Others may advise differently.
