yesterday one of my rear seatbelts just stopped working, its been pulled out a bit and now it wont go back automatically and i cant pull it any further out. and then tonight my front passenger seatbelt just jammed and i have tried pulling both in all different directions but still cant get them workin.

Have you tried moving the car a bit? was/is it on an incline?
Moving it to a different gradient, even slightly seems to free up the ones I ever had trouble with!

That used to happen alot in my old car, i just yanked it real hard till i realesed pardon the expression.
I have the same problem 
But with the Drivers Seat-belt... Mk1 Punto.
Every so often it jams at the same length but its been like this for the past 2 days... I don't want to drive around with no seat-belt so have to put my seat as far back as it can possibly go, just so the seat-belt can get around me. Very uncomfortable

Have you tried getting to the mechanism to see if there is anything jamming it, or just to give it a good spray with some WD-40, could be just caused by years of use
I haven't taken that panel off myself but im sure that its not too hard to do

I sometimes get this with my drivers belt. Apparently it's a build up of dust in the mechanism.
could there be any more inuendo's in one thread?>
