Would anyone have any advice or guide on how to swap out a seat base ?

Thanks!

Which seat
Basic front seat, no hight adjustment
Undo the two bolts and pull it out
Im planning to swap the worn drivers seat which has height adjustment (from my 4x4) with a base sourced from a passenger seat (with no height adjustment.

Im assuming this is possible?

If so, any challenges?

Not something I have done, and the 4x4, seats are slightly different, at least they have different parts numbers

@irc is your best bet

They imply it's possible here

Thanks @koalar appreciated.

@irc mentions the base swap with height adjustable is still 'easy'.

I'll be swapping a 4x4 passenger seat that does not have height adjustment to drivers side with height adjustment.

Fingers crossed!

If just swapping the seat base cushion, its just 2 bolts to remove and have a look. Should be the same on 4x4, I think the difference is in the material covering.
Look under the front of the seat, 2 bolts (10mm i think).
Height adjustable seats have a pair of holes which some of the non-height adjustable ones don't have. But strangely, the non-height adjustable passenger seat of Height adjustable ones often have the same holes. (Not sure that sentence makes sense, but you'll see if you take them out)
