Hi all

First post here after getting a 500L for work purposes.

Photo attached - where can I get the bit of plastic that surrounds these floor switches? It seems that someone has "pushed" the buttons in and the plastic surround has shattered. I can get in to the unit to sort the buttons but will then need the plastic surround. One parts company has said the piece only comes as a whole with the switch but when I look up the part number, it's the switch without the plastic... So I'm thinking that the "surround" actually form part of the entire centre console...?

Any help appreciated!

Hello,

Indeed it looks like it's one part with the buttons, at least FIAT was not selling it as a separate part:

Looking with the part numbers I can see that poeple sell it both with and without the plastic ring. I'd buy one with and just take the ring and put in you car with your buttons.

You could also ask at the dealership.

Here's the diagram, if you click the magnifying glass icon by the part numer it will redirect to your favorite search engine in your browser:

Brilliant reply, thank you! I know it's not an "essential" part, and the car is literally being used like a glorified van with the option to take the dogs in it occasionally, but I do like a tidy car.
