A load of us from FF went to this event last year and it was fantastic. Definatly not an event to be missed! Its the flame and thunder show on the saturday and run what ya brung on the sunday. Camping is included in the weekend tickets (see link above) but it is extra to run your car on the sunday (definatly recommended!)

Event features comical camping from the reading lot with there 1950s tent :p ... Drunken dodgems... Cartwheels for vodka... Gazs ***** :yuck: ... and semi-still-drunk drag racing in Uno turbos and Turbo cinqs at the run what ya brung :D

Of course its not jsut about camping over with the FF lot and getting drunk... its a huge event with absolutly tons to do! Alot going on into the night aswell. The run what ya brung is a good event to watch aswell.

Tickets can be booked online or over the phone. Check the offical website for more details.

Re: Santa Pod Flame & Thunder

My freinds want me to take my panda to this  And it does look cool. Does the weekend ticket include a chance to rip her up the strip? Or is it extra?
I wanna do summit this year, and this seems the best thing on! Its this or trax at least.
Cheers
Si

Re: Santa Pod Flame & Thunder

Went to this last year with some mates, great event- it's just packed with stuff to do, even though it is freezing cold  . Didn't recognise any FF cars there though.

Last year, it was £25 to do the RWYB on the sunday, but that was for all day, as many runs as you could fit in.

Re: Santa Pod Flame & Thunder

Was a good laugh last year, freezing cold in the tent but easily made up for by Chris' drunken birthday performance :p

Will have to see what Im up to that weekend but could be a good weekend.

Re: Santa Pod Flame & Thunder

i'll probably be there :D so so so cold in night though, woke up not being able to feel legs

Tbh the best thing about the whole event is the relaxed group atmosphere with FF :)

Wonder if those civic girls there again  :p

edit: Or the daytime doggers flashing us as we were leaving :D
