Grande Punto RuSZ's '09 StarJet Grande Punto

Introduction

Well guess who's back in a Fiat after a year absence. :D

Here she is, my new Grande Punto with 13800 miles and one genuine lady owner. Its a 1.4l 16v StarJet Grande in Ska Red.

She's a 2009, Grande Punto GP Spec; 95bhp 92lbs/ft 1.4l Engine, Gen 2 Headlights and Sporting Fog lights, Carbon Effect dash, Blue&Me and 15" Alloys.

Recently been named Francesca the Fiat

Haven't really got many plans for her. Maybe lower. But have already got wind deflecters and the much needed iPod Blue&Me Adapter (y)

Cars been in for a bit of repair work today under warranty.

The heater fan control had stopped working, so no interior heater or fan.

Took it down to the guys at Piccadilly Wakefield for a look.

Apparently the heater resistor pack for the speed control had burnt out completely. Replaced under warranty. 4hour job.. 2hours and counting

Without an advisory.. there wasn't anything.

The tester said he should have put down that "drivers field of view obstructed" because of the air freshener, but he just took it off pretesting.

Noticed as well, the text expired on the 6th July, so drove to Stanford without an MOT... oops

congrats fella, the alfa MOT runs out in 7 days time - its not quite as scary with new cars though is it lol.
not really, one thing is the headlight adjuster wasnt working, so was hoping the pattern was correct and they didnt need to adjust it.

It is always a worry with a Italian car.

I knew someone with a brand new Mini and on its first ever MOT it failed because of rusting brake lines.

Good job I noticed your battery :p

No. He's the forgetful type that forgets to check the exact date on the MOT certificate... :p

I tend to find an annual entry in my phones calendar works well, along with monthly check of all the cars oils (yes I know it should be weekly, but with so many cars in the household one looses track).
