Is the remap pre-loaded maps or are red dot to do custom tuning for £199?

custom if needed thats what the rolling road is for, so maps can be tweaked so you get exactly what you need. you not only get the before and after rolling road print outs you can also take it for a test drive and if you are not happy, then it can all be put back to how it was at the start and you don't have to pay,
never know any one not to come back from road test with out a grin from ear to ear though. so you cant loose really (y)

oh and you only live down the road so if any problem did pop up later, you can just pop back, but you wont get any, but you can still pop back other times just for a chat and advice on what to do next if you like :)

Owen practically lives there now :p

i think he meant is it like the same remap for every pnto with the same engine and its not. its custom depending on what the owner wants and what mods are already on the car(y)

you seem to be avoiding saying how its done unless youre not sure, dont know or not qualified Im interested which way its done as I have my name down for rolling road day

thats not what you asked at all, you tried to tell me some one else was asking some thing they wasn't. as there post was a follow on to a convo we had been having by pm before i had to go out i new exactly what they meant.

if you have your own questions then ask them

if that is your question?
your car will be rolling roaded readings for power and fueling taken.
your original map will be down loaded on to safe storage for ever,
a new map will be put on the ecu,
car will be run and readings taken again, if its not already exactly right they re write bits of the map as needed.

no matter what happens your standard map can be put back on at any time

Dave can you tell me if you are involved in the remapping procedure. There is a reason for asking this "a new map will be put on the ecu" is the bit Im interested in could you be a bit more precise it would help me decide wether to travel nearly 300 mile or not.

Thanks

Might help if you reveal what you really want to know.

Usually all the mapping tables are optimised. Your question basically is asking the same question twice.

:yeahthat: and its been answered twice

if at any time you want to put the car back to standard with out traveling back, you just sent your ecu back special delivery with postage money for return special delivery and your original map file can be put back on.

i am not involved i just go there often and watch close up. an have already asked most of the questions you need answers too
