Dose anybody know of or have a roll over frame for fiat 500 or 126? I mean the sort which bolts onto one side in place if the wheels and then allows then car to be rolled through say 90 degrees so you can work on the underside. I would be interested to get some pictures and dimensions and to make one. I have spare wheels and was thinking I Could weld up a frame from angle iron. Many thanks in anticipation.

The correct name for such a cunning device is:- rotisserie. There was one for sale in the 'Fiat 500 enthusiasts club' magazine a few months ago. I am away for another couple of days, but when I get back (Wed) I will dig out the details and let you have them.

Thanks for that. I would be interested in the rotisserie style too but I was thinking of a more simple design like the photoImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1430771067.680993.jpg. I think I may be able to fabricate something like this more easily. In the past I have used an old mattress and a bale of straw. But found that these easily catch fire when you are welding.

Hello All,

I have a rotisserie making its way to me in Christchurch from Auckland.

When it gets here I can take some pictures if you like. I can't imagine that it would be too hard to make one.

Single handed rollover with a bit of extra help from a pulley system through the sunroof.

This is my half way house solution - it works pretty well for access to inside and underneath at the same time.
