Hi,
I'm trying to remove the (rocker) valve cover to replace the gasket, since its leaking oil. I almost got it off except for where the arrow is pointing in the photo, where the fuel injector wiring duct is locked into a slot on the backside of the rocker cover. Any ideas how to disconnect this and free the cover?
thanks, Michael

Two plastic tongues point down ward from the wiring tube, get screw driver and push level the plastic smaller clip in the centre of the tongue at gear box end and lift. The other one will just unhook. Hope this helps.

My handyman found an easier way. Just press on two spots on the fuel injector wiring loom, and it opens up and the wires come out, and presto rocker cover is freed.

Most snap on removal tbh....
Carefully tease the tabs that secure it

Dont forget that if ur a 2003 with a cam sensor - there is a hidden bolt in the rocker cover near the mount and 1 obvious one facing firewall to allow timing cover to come off.....

Ive stopped use the gaskets and started to seal with just putty... so far it seems to last longer but the oil always seems to seap out....
