Styling respray - new colour or original

on the verge of going for a full respray.

Original colour is Aqua Blue Metallic

not sure if best to keep it that way or go with something never seen before, or just another original Barchetta colour

went to see Nino's B yesterday - most impressed, so hoping to use same people

thoughts please

I'd go for original,otherwise you will have to strip the car fully to prep and spray door, boot and bonnet shuts aswell as the engine bay etc.

It's not worth it really, also I really like that colour!

Absolutely agree. Just had a full respray. Body shop quoted double for changing the colour..engine out, doors and interior dismantled, dash out to do the inside trim etc. Not worth it..even if I was considering Fire Orange...

I know...but a 'proper job' colour change is a B* to do right. The only time the extra work is really justified is when you're doing a complete bare metal restoration-repaint job and my B isn't in that condition or (honestly) worth the expense..now if it were a baby Ferrari?

Seriously considering completely changing mine to Rubino Red (current alfa colour) - not a pragmatic or cost effective choice but I think would be a stunning colour on a B. Go with whatever will make you happy every morning when you first step out the door and see it. We don't have Barchetta's because they make sense!

After vandal damage and a broken side window dropping onto the top of the door and across the rear wing I seriously considered a sexy two tone paint jop. The 'B' has nice defining lines that lend it to a two tone/colour paint job.

I've never seen a two tone/colour 'B' so you could pinch my idea and beat me to it.

Vauxhall / Opal did a 2 tone Tigre. Green body and silver or grey hood. Looked a bit girly and bling but the idea was sound.

Easiest way to do it is have a range of different colour hard tops..mix n' match. I used to like the old fiat burgundy red metallic..now that with a cream roof would be something...
