Dunnit!Didn’t get a chance to take any pictures but here’s the sequence for anyone tackling the same job.
Don’t forget to eject your CD from the existing radio before starting!!!:bang: Hard to eject with no power :bang:
Remove existing radio using release pins.
Remove 4 cross head screws from lower side of steering column shroud. Don’t need to remove shroud just need to be able to move it away from central area a couple of centimetres.
Open glove box.
Remove 4 torx head screws – 2 on either side of lower central dash and pull lower central dash back slightly.
Pull up on gearstick gaiter and unclip from dash.
Remove 2 cross head and 2 torx head screws now visible through the hole normally covered by gaiter.
Prise out the central air vents. BE VERY CAREFUL. The front flaps and ring may come off first but stop pulling on them. You want the complete unit – a tube about 6 inches long.
Remove 2 cross head screws through vacant air vent holes.
Pull upper central dash back.
Remove 2 screws securing front of binnacle to dash.
Remove 2 screws securing back of binnacle to dash.
EASY PEASY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW.
Tip for reassembly:
The air vent tubes will only fit back in the correct orientation. There is a tag running down the side of each tube which must line up with a cut out in the dash hole.

The Ripspeed unit is ok, not the best, but that's cause I deal with them
Glad you fitted it ok though and you like your new tunes![]()
Mine went in fine, Sony unit. Wonder why?
My first postso hello to all of you.
Since you are able to take pictures, can you please post one of the front dash board speakers? In mine I have only two holes to attach the speaker to and I was wondering if I am not missing some type of adapter since the car came without speakers.

HiTried my dad's Pioneer Head Unit from his Transit in the car today and I must admit I was impressed with the difference in sound even with the standard speakers!
As I had planned to get a pioneer anyway, I gave them a call and they said that the unit would fit the Doblo with no adaptors, as it already has an ISO connector going into the original radio. Pioneer supply a lead with their Head Units that allow a standard ISO connector to be plugged into the selected Head Unit, and after inspection of the lead on their site they proved to be right.
So hopefully soon I will be graced with better sound
It's because of you Niall that I want one nowall donations gratefully recieved
