During the recent snow someone gently nudged the rear of our 500 and the chrome strip has cracked and needs replacing. It doesnt look as if there was any other damage and I wondered if this is difficult to replace and how much the job should cost?

Thanks

Nick

PS Whilst I have not been on here for some time we simply love our 500 and have not had any warranty issues :)

Its just stuck on, so, remove, clean off old adhvesive and stick a new one on.

Check the accessories page for price.

Cheers

As rallycinq says it might be stuck on if it was not factory fitted. If it came as an option added at the factory I believe that there are slots in the rear bumper that the strip fits into although I guess that they would be covered OK if you fitted the new one using adhesive.

Thanks - it came from factory with the strip so I think I might get the the garage to fix it. Hopefully the offending driver will pay up......
