So I decided to replace my front speakers in my fiat.
Last Friday I only replaced the normal woofers and everything worked fine.
I still needed to replace the tweeters so I decided to do that today, so just before I replaced them I still used my windows and the ambient lighting in the door was still on and working.

Then after I replaced the tweeters I turned on the car to test them and everything worked fine.
Then I connected the adapter for the windows and automatic mirrors and tried to test them but they stopped working.

I'm not sure if I had one side connected only before or if I already had both connected.
Anyways I saw a reddit post about a Nissan that had to reset them by disconnecting the battery, so that's what I also did and I left it for 15 minutes like that but still not working.

Fuses seem to be fine too.

What else can I try?

Hello,

Attached the eLearn docs for both power windows and HiFi radio. Perhaps you'll find a common part somewhere.

Hi,

Thank you for that! Would you be able to see if there's a document for the lights in the door/door handle as well?
I wonder if there's any correlation between the windows and those lights.

Which handles are you talking about? Can you post a photo, please?

I'll try to look for something, looks to me like the instrument cluster / dashboard lights. Or as mentionned, the mirrors.

I've checked courtesy lights doc, but does not mention those.

When they are (or should be) illuminating? with the parking / side lights? or with ignition on?

Thanks for the reply!

They work when ignition is on.
I will check the fuses again and probably the loom on both door sides as well.
There more I read the more it seems cables

I'll get you some more docs to read this evening :D if the site is online...
So I checked the following fuses:
F32, F37, F47, F48, F49 and F86, they're all fine and in good condition.

I also checked the cables that come through the door, they seem to be in great condition.

Tomorrow I am going to disconnect the battery for some hours to maybe empty the capacitors and soft reset the bcm

I've checked several times, the site was down :( and still is now.
I checked the loom, it is in great condition.
So a friend of mine connected a OBD scanner en got the following error: B1020

Which says:
Release relay windows, K.S. according to mass or overload, presence

I checked the diagrams and the doesn't seem to be a relay for the power windows.
Unfortunately I don't have a mulitmeter on hand, I'll check that next week.

Do you know by any chance what else I can check?

Check for the presence of short circuits to earth or Vbatt.

1. Presence of short circuit to Vbatt -> 1. Restore insulation to + batt.
2. Presence of short circuit to earth -> 2. Restore insulation to earth

Hi,

I checked everything and it all seemed to be fine.
All the relays seem to be working fine too.

What earth cables should I check?

If all seems to be fine, then everything works ok?

What are the remaining problems? The electric front windows don't move when the switch is activated? The ambient light is still off?

I mean everything that I needed to check works fine and looks good.
So I'm lost now on what else to look for.
I'm afraid it's an error in the bcm again.

As there is no relay or fuse that sends the signal to the windows if I am correct.
