My 2011 Ducato i800 is currently at the garage where it was towed to today due to some kind of problem with the automatic transmition which appeared on and off so when mechanic was there, he did not actually see the sign but was arrogant, rude and did not give me the chance to explain the real problem which he had never heard of the red tick sign that came up at some point and apparently was a figment of my imagination? so if anyone knows of its existence on the control panel then it would be great to know what it meant? and have some proof of its existence. I forgot to ask the present garage about this and just incase I forget again then any advice would be good.
Had quite a lot of bad luck with garages but the one I am with now has been brilliant.

I assume the Burstner i800 is based on the standard x250 Ducato as for the chassis, engine, transmission and related electronics. Looking at the photos online I can see the middle part of the dash is 100% Ducato. Same for the gearbox lever.

It's not an automatic transmission, but a robotized mechanic gearbox called Conformatic / Dualogic / Selespeed / F1 depending on the make / model.

It is a serviceable component which requires precise and regular servicing. And is very often forgotten about. One of the fluids used by the system is highly hygroscopic and requires regular replacements (preferably every 2 years, latest every 4 years). The problem is there are not many workshops that know how to service it properly.

I can't remember reading about a red tick sign on the dashboard though. I imagine you have not taken a photo of it, haven't you?
