Technical red steering wheel light on dash ???

hi all

went to work steering was fine did my work , got in the car steering was really harsh and hard

then looked on the dash red steering wheel was on

is it the fluid

just because thats what happened to you don't mean its same for everyone. mine just needed a new battery

so it cud be a battery , motor, or wiring ?

how old is the battery?

Get the battery tested and move on from there. Most of the time its a weak battery.
Also read the guides lots of info on there for steering issues.

Can be
A - Weak Battery
B - A Cable has come undone
C - A Cable has Snapped somewhere
D - Speedo Sensor Has died (does speed still work?)
E - Motor Has Failed
F - position Torque Sensor have failed
G - Moisuture in the Motor and Ecu
H - Alternator at fault (EPS runs mainly off Alternator and battery when alternator isn't giving enough juice, So have the alternator tested too!)
