Newbie here 😉
My partner bought a 2012 Mylife Multijet Qubo earlier this year. Fun wee car, although we have already had to replace both front springs and their top bearings…
This issue has been there since she got it, in that every time the ignition is switched on, the rear wiper operates for a few seconds, and then stops in some random position. I did a search on rear wiper on here, and although there were several equally bizarre faults, I haven’t seen anything about this one.
Is it a known fault, and does anyone know how to resolve it?
TIA

Generally if wiper motor stops in odd position it is a faulty "park" mechanism as that part is live with wipers switched off, the idea being when you turn wiper switch off wiper arms ar self parked out of the eyeline.
I assume you haven't got switch in auto on position if yours has that function?

Thanks Mike: yes, I suspected some fault in the park function. I don’t see an auto function
