I'm sorry the Email took so long - I'd guess about 20:00 UK time yesterday when they left me.

The comment above by Weta is a good one.

Rubbing or scraping noises may be down to rusty disks, or a sticky brake caliper - but there can't be much slowing you down from your quoted top speed the other day]:D

Anyway, if it can be heard when moving slowly, and it's repeatable, you must be close to finding out what it is:)
 
I needed to resume this thread, because the noise is still inside my car...yesterday I "shook" the rear right wheel without jacking the car and I felt a little bit of play, which oddly disappear when the wheel doesn't touch the ground[xx(].Does anyone know if there's anything to check beside the hub which has been replaced??I'm thinking about a welding between the hub and the axle...is my thought correct[?]
