You are looking at a lot of cash to get a 120WRMS x 2 amp I'm guessing - what speakers you got again?

EDIT: Cheapest I can find is about £170

Umm...............Paul? Don't you think you've gone a bit overkill pricewise? The cheapest amp costs £200 more than the speakers did! :p
 
Lmao yeah to expensive. i'll keep a look out for amp deals. im probably going to get the 2nd amp done early summer. so lots of time. thanks

Sunny, give me your budget limit and I'll find you a scorching 2nd hand amp within 10 minutes. It'll be a 4 channel unit, so you can sell the one you have now to recoup some funds.
 
erm.. look for a 2nd amp for me.. max price 90£

i'll stil keep my current one
 
Thats not bad.. but im not looking to get it all done yet.. i want to get it done early summer.. so i guess i'll just be looking around till then. Thanks for the help though
 
I've started looking at amp and speaker packages. since im going to instal it in summer... all of them include 6x9's.. Where am i meant to put that.. i dont want to put it in the back shelf thing. and they wont fit in the current 13cm places. :S

Shame caraudiodirect arent doing the Cheap Alpines no more.

Just got myself an Alpine MRV-T420 from them for £130. Running a set of 6inch components. Sounds brilliant.

But they dont have any left no more.

It is worth getting a more powerful amp than your speakers though better to run an amp turned up only halfway than have it cranked right the way up.

I spent £100 on my components shoulda been £150 and spent £130 on the amp which usually retailed at £180 - 200

Just means im not stressing the amp etc.
