Technical Rear fog light always on

Having some electrical problems it seems with my punto grande. The rear fog lights seem to be permanently on if main or dipped lights are on, without pressing the fog light button. It doesn’t show it’s on on the dash either. I’ve looked at all the fuses, and changed the one that was broken. But still having the same problem. Any help would be appreciated

I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say that if you take out the appropriate fuse and it turns off, it means that there's a short in the wiring / switch of the rear fog light system or BCM. If it doesn't, I'd say the short is located in the lamp or around.

Have you checked the condition of the part where the bulbs are located and the cables around it. The plug, socket etc?

thank you! I have checked the wiring to the lights at the back and it seems fine, it’s in pretty good condition. Thank you for the advice, I will take a look at the electrics

Any help on a rear fog light. Does not illuminate when fog light is selected on dash. Is this an easy fix? What bulb is needed? Or is it easier to replace the fixing.

Could be the same / similar cause.

Check all the other rear lights connectors for corrosion it could be power is talking the path of least resistance
Common for brake light to trigger other lights with bad earth connections
