Technical Rear Bumper Iron / Reinforcement Bar replacement - can I do it?

Hi,
just took off the bumper to replace it and realised that the Rear Bumper Iron / Reinforcement Bar was also damaged. The prices for used are not bad but never done anything like this. Is this doable at home? Is there anything else I should be checking before continuing?
