Hi all. I've got a 2011 Qubo Trekking. It needs new rear axle bushes. Does anyone know if it's possible to do the job without removing the entire axle. I think you could drop the "front" mounts and do it that way. Then you wouldn't have to disconnect all the brakes malarkey.

In the past on various makes of vehicles we had tools that pushed out bushes in situ, although in some cases the metalastic outer was so rusted to the arm it was a sod to get out without resorting to violence.;)
More recently I bought a kit of threaded bars and spacers of different sizes that are meant to do the job, but I have yet to need them. So you could probably make up a threaded bar and spacers to try that method. It depends how easy the old ones come out.
I also have a decent size hydraulic press.

Happy New Year and thanks, Mike. I've got loads of different sized spacers and bolts to hopefully do the job in situ. If push comes to shove(🙄) I've got a big hydraulic press too. Plenty heat as well probably. Will update with progress.
