Not used RainX, I use Halfords Rain Repellent and that works a treat!
I have heard about this Halfords one, and it is supposed to be better than RainX.
But so far you are the only person on here who has owned up to using it.
I'm told it repells water better than RainX at lower speeds.

Yep its great, we make the stuff (and loads of other car care stuff for Halfords) at my works and I got some free and its great! Just been give some Nano Glass Protector samples from work, so I'm going to compare, the Nano stuff is quite expensive though!!

RainX

Dear Sir,

To remove the Rain-X, use a product called Soft Scrub. This product is available at most supermarkets. Scrub the windshield with Soft Scrub using a damp cloth or sponge and then rinse well with water. This will remove the Rain-X. If you have any additional questions please call us at 800-458-4998 8am-5pm CDT M-F.

Best Regards,
Technical Service
