So the other half has just told me the cars playing up 500 twinair 105.
Radiator warning came up in display. Wording not the coolant warning sign.
Now she's not the best with cars and I can't see anywhere where it states radiator warning.
It maybe she's seen radio.
I think the battery is on the way out. I've just taken it out. Was sluggish to start but no issues with temp n coolant level is fine.
Don't want to start WW3. Anyone else seen radiator warning in words in display
Thanks
Oh best place for new battery? Tayna!

You wouldn't see radiator or radio warning surely, it would be overheating check coolant or similar? And the yellow ⚠️
Battery Tanya or Batterymegastore
Perhaps check the cooling fan? Does the car have ac, does it work and is it switched on?

Never seen that!
Me either after trawling the internet too. I have a suspicion she's seen radio when changing music source

No. My thoughts too. I'd expect to see warning light only. AC working fine.

Well I'll be damned. "Radiator fluid temp high" does come up in the dash. I think it's a glitch due to dodgy battery as there's no issues with coolant.

Are you absolutely sure the water is OK? Are you sure the thermostat is working as expected, did the warning come up whilst stationary?
Don't drive the car until you're sure, lack of cooling is the engines Achilles heel !

Warning came on whilst trying to start. Just awaiting new battery. Should be here tomorrow. All gauges are fine and coolant level is fine. If thermostat was goosed temp gauge wouldn't read right. If Temp sensor was goosed I would expect it to read normal either.

When you do the battery check the engine earth strap condition?

Oh and when I disconnected the battery to fix the rear hatch wiring its goosed the passenger window that now won't move, yet another thing to overcome but first have to sort the knackered brake pipe,,

I have a golf which needed resetting after a new battery. Does the 500 need anything like that?

No, bar changing the clock, but then this is Fiat?

The window issue eventually solved itself after months when it happened a few years ago and its been suggested that the control board in the door maybe the issue that controls the window motor?

So my fiat wouldn’t start yesterday morning. Just wouldn’t turn over at all. The dash light flashed with ”radiator fluid temp high”. We haven’t had any lights or problems until now and it just won’t turn over. Catnapper what was causing your solve? Was the car starting?
