Hello everyone. Having been a Defender driver for many years (25 plus) I have got to the age where I am too old for my 1991 110 so she has had to go. I had a Panda 4x4 many, many years ago which succumbed to the dreaded tin worm but it was always fun to drive and got me everywhere a Defender would. So I bought a 2015 1.3 diesel 4x4, and apart from the fact I have to hide the keys otherwise my wife keeps nicking it I am having great fun whizzing around. I had the underbody protected from the tin rust and put on a set of Good Year all season Vector 4s and I now confidently face just about anything the weather can throw at me. The only thing I need now is a Snorkel (Raised Air Intake) but I am having difficulty finding one. Any tips anyone?

Mad buggers obviously. Used to do all of this with my 110 but I am not fit enough anymore. I want a snorkel if possible to take the wading depth up to a metre, Where we live there are one or two places where they depths have reached 80cm plus occasionally and I want to know that if I am faced with that depth I can safely negotiate it. It did not matter with my 110 because it had the 300 Tdi engine and even submerged all you had to do was spend an hour drying it out at the side of the road and carry on. 😁. To be fair it is not critical as the standard wading depth is damn good. These guys all appear to have lift kits which improve your wading depth anyway but I do not want to put on a lift kit as I will not be off roading
