right going to do a thread on the tipo, now im going to get it on the road this year. about time
I bought the car from milton keynes, on the 27th may 2008. it was on ebay, and i sent some one to pick it up, i only saw the tipo on pictures. i got it to my house, and took it of the back of the trailer, started 1st time, i thought i paid abit 2 much for it £400, last on the road in 2005, it had been in the family for a few years, abit of history, guy told me it only needed a cat for mot, but needs abit of welding, it's been in the garage ever since, got it out of garage at weekends and never started for me, so i put a new battery on, and starts every time. i really wanted to get the car on the road last year, but i lost my grandad, and also lost my nanna, plus i was at anglesey most weeks, ive now finished the house in anglesey, so hopefully i will get it on the road this year.
it needs for mot,
welding on driver's side jacking point
a cat, bought one but the flange was to big, (the one that joins to flexi pipe)
and a few little bits and peices, that im aware of.
ive put, new flexi pipe on, newish battery, a service, and a tyre. buying some arms for the boot, of gaz,
my intentions went i get it moted
colour code front bumper, and put red strip on front and back bumper,
back arches sorted out,
boot lid resprayed, and bonnet sprayed, as they have few chips,
try and change the cam belt. How big of a job is it???
what id liked to do,
get some original seats for the front,
set of 20vt coupe alloys,
buy a front sub frame and rebuild it,
all new suspension, brakes,
a few pictures,
i will keep upto date with the progress, might take some time, but ill get there one day.
