Hi, I am now on my 3rd LG viewty since May and will be ringing Orange for a
4th tomorrow as this is already faulty after 2 days! my question is,

can I argue the toss with orange and ask for a different model of phone or am I going to have to cancel my contract and start up a new one? I've currently been with Orange for roughly 2 years and tbh, this phone is really doing my head in.

3 faulty handsets since may is a complete joke. Any advice?

if its under warranty i cant see a problem with replacement.

i am on my second viewty the loudspeaker was faulty with mine and got an immdeiate replacemnt out to me.

However i have only ever been with orange on contract and PAYG must be at least 10 years so they lick my arse a bit

the problem is, is that I don't want to have to ring orange every other week for a replacement, its starting to annoy me now and sorting time off so I'm actually at home when they deliver the phone is also a pain in the arse =//

EDIT - actually if you count Pay as you go aswell, its been since around 1999 that I've been with orange.

first one crashed after a month and when switched on again, it got as far as "LG" screen and kept resetting.

2nd one would turn off every 5-10 minutes if you'd switched it off then on and also the LCD screen was slowly coming away from the phone.

When I'm talking to someone on my latest replacement, all I can hear is a distorted voice no matter what my signal strength is and this is after 2 days of having it. I'm incredibly pissed off tbh.

thats what was up with my first one.

Orange offered me a delivery slot up to 10pm as i jokingly asked if i could have it delivered at that time and they said yes. I thad it delivered about 7.30pm though

Why not have it delivered to your work? Orange did that for me when I needed a replacement handset :)

the problem is.... I really don't want another LG viewty.... and my boss doesn't like staff having parcels delivered to the ward lol. Someone delivering a phone when someone is kicking off isn't great lol =/
